SEASON SUMMARY: The boys cross-country team had a great year, culminating in an impressive 4th place finish at the state meet. Led by seniors Malcolm Taylor and Isaac Chambers, the team accomplished a lot, beating rival St. Joe at their own meet in the St. Joe Spartan Classic as well as in the state meet. They also took first place in the Twin City Classic, beating perennial cross-country powers Central, Centennial, and Urbana. They finished the season strong as well, led in the state meet by Taylor and a breakout performance from sophomore Albert Anastasio. With the loss of only two varsity seniors, the team promises to be better than ever in the 2009 season.
