SEASON UPDATE: Congratulations to subfreshmen Emma Hoyer, Bissy Michael, Sarah Vaughen, and Nealay Kalita as they all qualified for the IESA State Final Track and Field Meet to be held this Friday-Saturday at EastSide Centre in East Peoria.

At this past weekend's IESA Sectional Meet, Hoyer was a double-winner, taking both the discus and shot put titles. Vaughen and Michaels finished first and second, respectively, in the 800 meter run, with Hoyer sweeping the distance events with a win in the 1600m run, as well. On the boy's side, Kalita ran away from the competition, bringing home title finishes in both the 100 meter and 200 meter dashes.
