Jeremey Hobson was a member of the graduating class of 1999. One of Hobson’s first memories of Uni was the Oral History Project that all subbies take part in, which played a role in Hobson’s eventual career path in radio broadcasting. During his time at Uni, Hobson was heavily involved with theatre and the Thespians, taking part in many plays over the years.
Since graduating from Uni, Hobson has held a plethora of jobs in the radio field, including a producer for All Things Considered, became a reporter for Marketplace, eventually became a Wall Street reporter, and then became a host of Marketplace Morning Report, and then host of NPR’s Here and Now.
Recently, Hobson has moved away from NPR looking for a new challenge and has progressed to explore other parts of media like starting his own podcast and exploring other things.
