William F. Lytle

William Fullenwider Lytle was born in Urbana, Illinois to Ernest Barnes Lytle and Alice E. Fullenwider. A veteran of World War II, Lytle married Margaret H. Lytle. He would later go on to teach agricultural engineering at many universities, eventually becoming professor emeritus at San Diego State University and serving as state climatologist. Lytle also received the Tablet of Honor Award from Kiwanis International. He passed away in October 7, 2001 in Brookings, South Dakota, and is survived by his wife Margaret and his two kids Robert and Nancy.
