- Children’s Program Volunteer
Play with children/teens at the Center for Women in Transition Tuesdays and Thursdays. Though children can be as old as 18, they can be as young as newborn, so high school volunteers will probably be welcome. A 30-60 min. interview is required, and you must be 16 to volunteer. Training January 18, 2005.

- Virginia Theatre Volunteer
All the joys of working at a theatre without getting paid ^_~ Great for those passionate in theatre, and shows are generally in the evening (good for us full-time students). Take tickets, work concession and usher, and see some free shows when the work is done. Must fill out application.
- Champaign Park District
Apply for the teen volunteer team. Must be 13 or older. Teen volunteers may work no more than 25 hours a week.
- Champaign Public Library Volunteer
Shelf books any time the library is open.
- The Reading Group general assistant
“the perfect ‘after-school’ or weekend commitment for a youth interested in gaining volunteer experience.” Keep the Reading Group clean and tidy. Application/Interview process required.
