The Max Beberman Distinguished Alumni Award is the highest honor awarded an alumna/us by Uni High. Since 1985, it has been awarded to recognize alumni who have enhanced the reputation of the school by distinguishing themselves in their careers and who have made significant contributions through professional service, public service, and civic activities, or in their service to Uni High. The Beberman family has established a memorial fund to support the expenses associated with this award.

The Rising Star Alumni Award is presented by the University of Illinois Laboratory High School to honor alumni of distinction. The award was founded in 2017 to recognize alumni, earlier in their life and career, who have enhanced the reputation of the school by distinguishing themselves in their careers, and have made significant contributions to their community, state, and nation through professional service, public service and civic activities, or in their service to Uni High.
